Drawing on Scripture and examples from the early Church, this book argues that the Great Commission was given to the disciples as a whole and that every believer is responsible for carrying the Gospel to the people around them.

With a clear distinction between inviting people to church and actually preaching Christ to them, the book examines the pattern of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch, the scattered believers in Acts, Paul’s witness in the marketplace, and the unnamed believers who carried the Gospel to Antioch. It calls the Church to recover the simple practice of going to people where they are and personally telling them about Jesus.

But this is not a book about producing guilt-driven evangelists; it points believers to the love of Christ as the true fuel for Gospel witness, showing that lasting obedience must flow from a heart captivated by what Christ has done.
