2 Corinthians 8:7 (AMP)
“But just as you excel in everything, [and lead the way] in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in genuine concern, and in your love for us, see that you excel in this gracious work [of giving] also.”
The people of God (the children of Israel) have always been known for giving their resources to God. God’s will for your finances goes beyond your personal needs; it’s about kingdom impact. Kingdom giving is the act of using your resources to advance God’s work on earth. Whether it’s supporting missions, helping the needy, or sowing into your local church, giving connects you to eternal purpose.
When you give to God, you’re not losing; you’re investing and advancing His kingdom. The resources you release into His hands multiply beyond what money can buy. Giving transforms your heart, aligns your priorities with heaven, and invites divine provision. By giving to God, you recognize that you own nothing that wasn’t given to you by God.
True giving flows from love, not pressure. It’s not about how much you give, but the heart behind it. Every seed you sow becomes a testimony of trust, saying, “Lord, You are my source.” Don’t be selfish with your resources. Attend to kingdom needs and support kingdom projects. Be a giver more than you are a receiver.
Confession: I hold nothing back as I give all within my power for the work of the Kingdom.
