Act of Faith

Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)

“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.”

Faith is a spiritual currency for spiritual transactions. Faith comes in when the things before you are humanly impossible. Pleasing God is not solely about what we do or by the actions we carry out. Faith is a proof of your convictions. A God you don’t know, you cannot believe. We can only enter His presence by faith. The closer you get to God, the more fearful He becomes to you.

Faith is not positive thinking. Faith means fixing your gaze on God. A man of faith must be ready to accept whatever it is that God says and carry out the instructions He gives, just like Abraham did. Faith is not stubbornness or self-deceit; it is you holding God by His word, insisting and believing on it, even when it doesn’t make sense.

Power is gotten by faith, and God wants His children to be powerful and not be weaklings. As children of God, our faith must be able to move mountains.

Your company determines your faith. If you continually associate with people who despise, look down on, or discourage any move of faith you make, separate yourself from them and get around people or teachings that encourage faith. We cannot separate faith from the life of a believer. Therefore, we must continually exercise our faith in all situations.

Confession: I walk in and practice faith as my relationship with God grows.
