In the modern Church, there is often a temptation to believe that technological advancement will automatically accelerate the spread of the Gospel.
While technology can certainly assist in communication, it is important we understand that it is not the primary strategy of God.
A sermon can be broadcast online.
A message can be shared on social media.
A teaching can reach thousands of people through digital platforms.
But the deepest work of the Gospel still requires human presence because discipleship happens through relationships and Churches are planted through people and communities are transformed through believers who live among them.
A video cannot replace a shepherd.
An online message cannot replace a discipler.
A digital broadcast cannot substitute for a missionary that is living among the people.
Technology may support missions, but it cannot replace missions.
