Being Fruitful – The Process (3)

John 15:7 (AMP)

“If you remain in Me and My words remain in you [that is, if we are vitally united and My message lives in your heart], ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.”

One of the most vital questions to ask as you journey in the faith is, “Am I abiding in Christ, and does His Word live in my heart?” Conformity to the Person of Christ is the ultimate goal of being a disciple; however, this may not be achieved if you do not actively abide in Christ.

Every believer will become fruitful if we allow the Word of Christ to abide in our hearts. Living the way of Christ cannot be achieved by allowing the world to influence our hearts with their words. Rapt attention must be paid to the words of Christ if conformity to Him will be accomplished.

How much of the Words of Christ do you have in your heart? The Word of God has been given to us so that we might not go astray nor wander from the path of truth and righteousness. Keep the Word of God in your heart and live by it. You cannot be fruitful outside of the active practice of the Word. Know the Word to practice it.

Confession: The Word of God dwells in my heart richly, and I live by it.
