John 15:8 (AMP)
“My Father is glorified and honored by this, when you bear much fruit, and prove yourselves to be My [true] disciples.”
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Jesus Christ, Matthew 5:16). During His sermon on the Mount, Jesus had an important discussion with His disciples on how important and non-negotiable it is for them to live a life that compels men to glorify the Father in Heaven.
This is the desire that every believer must fulfill to say that such a one has indeed lived a fulfilled life. Everything that adds up to this starts from the place of constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the yieldedness to His leading and prompting. The difference between a fruitful Christian and a fruitless one is the level of obedience to the Holy Spirit.
Be a God-pleaser and not a men-pleaser. Let your life bring praise and honour to God at all times. Let this be the standard of living you will set for yourself, and as much as you are able, do not go less.
Confession: My light shall shine, and I shall continually bring glory to God.
