The vision of the books ministry is to encourage and build people in God’s Word, by making our books available in English, main Nigerian languages, and a few African languages, free of cost, across our nation and Africa.
All our English books are in the process of being translated into Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, French, and Tiv. We are also in the process of looking at translating into other main African languages.
You could volunteer in the following areas:
1. Review/Proofing: This involves reading through English books or translated documents of our English books and ensuring that the meaning has been retained and correct any spelling or grammatical mistakes. Fluency in English is a must for our English books, and for translations the ability to convey the exact meaning of the English books into the language that you are fluent with, is necessary.
2. Suggest a list of places or addresses where the books can be sent to enable wider reach, especially for our translations. If you know of people and places that could benefit from our free books, please mail us at bookrequest@lightbearersglobal.org
