The hardness of the MESSAGE OF THE CROSS makes it difficult to have the crowd but motivational speakers have made it look like when you don’t have the crowd, you don’t have the ministry.
Don’t be deceived.
Many followed Jesus but only few were really known to be His disciples.
There was no record that Nicodemus followed Him after their conversation in John 3 but his statement of ‘WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE A TEACHER SENT FROM GOD” means that there were people right in the midst of the Jewish leaders who knew JESUS was from GOD but couldn’t bring themselves to follow Him.
Don’t be deceived by the crowd, many aren’t following the LORD you are following; they just need an association simply for the days of unforeseen negative circumstances.
Be discerning.
