Hebrews 11:1 (AMP)
“Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”
There is a state where a Christian is expected to live by exercising a little more trust in God, taking a step of faith overboard to save him from the destruction or temptation that comes at hand. In the world exist tribulations and challenging situations, but it takes a man who is determined to hold onto God in unbending faith, through divine help, to be able to survive. The Christian life and journey is one that must be lived with faith, having a conviction and assurance that those things that are not would be made visible and alive by the power of faith.
The Bible clearly instructs that you, as a Christian and child of God, must have faith in Him. Faith is indispensable in your walk with God. There is always a tough path that God wants to take you through in order that He might show forth His glory in and through you; therefore, your living faith is needed to help you stay strong and victorious in those times.
Faith in God is a powerful weapon in the hands of a Christian, especially when he does not have an idea of what tomorrow will look like. Satan has always wanted to bank on the uncertainty in the heart of such a man during trying times to have a foothold in his life, but a living faith in God hands Satan the reality of the defeat that has since been given him by Christ. The faith of a Christian in the power and potency of God and His Word, even in hopeless situations, is enough to destroy and disappoint the devil and his wiles.
It is therefore important, beloved, that you exercise strong and unbending faith in God at all times. Have you been praying to God for the solution to a certain problem, and it seems like God is delaying? Don’t give up! Keep trusting and keep believing. It is in your continued faith in Him as you wait that you are strengthened and empowered. No man has ever faithfully waited upon God in faith and has been disappointed. Have faith.
Confession: By faith, I choose the narrow way, even if it makes me stand alone. I refuse to bow to compromise, and I refuse to settle for ordinary, for the Spirit of Christ in me makes me bold to be different.
