Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
The life of a disciple has only one focus – to please God. And this is the whole essence of being a Disciple of Christ. This focus is brought to reality by faith. The foundation of the Christian life is faith, faith made you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus even though it has happened thousand of years ago. Having an understanding of faith help us grow in our walk with the LORD.
Faith is the currency of the believer, it works where we can’t see. It’s the pillar of salvation and a powerful fruit we must strive to have. Faith keeps us going in this Christian journey on the days it’s really stormy. Fear is the opposite of faith, make sure you expel fear from your life and let faith take its full course, fear is a torment.
No one walks in ungodly fear and becomes fruitful in his walk with God. Every man who desires to serve the Lord must settle it in his heart that God is, Jesus is and He is coming back to take those who are His. Let your life be one that stays focused on the finished work of Christ and the salvation He brings, for it is by faith that you can please God.
