In the Beginning

Genesis 1:1 (NLT)

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

It is that time of the year when many people do review of how they spent the past 12 mo2and then make plans for the new year. For many, the new year is a start to a new beginning when they hope to do many things differently. A new beginning could be in your career, school, academics or relationship. But from the scripture, In the very beginning was God.

In the very beginning of whatever you want to start must be God. The reason for starting should be God. Involving God can be through prayers, to confirm His will and receive his counsel. He can bring His counsel through various means. You can have an inner witness or through  other means.

‎One of the advantages we have, if we involve God in every new beginning is that we will receive light. We will  know what to do per time and season. He will give us knowledge that will makes us have an edge over others. Another beautiful advantage is solution to problems. He knows the problems you will encounter and tell you how you can avoid them or manage them to achieve a desired result. It is good to have God in every beginning of new things in our life, so always involve God.

Confession: As I look forward to starting a new year, I involve God in every of my decisions and choices.
