Living in God’s Will

Hebrews 10:36 (AMP)

“For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised.”

The will of God is one subject a believer shouldn’t be ignorant of. Living means in use or existing. It also means to have life or alive. While God’s will can be referred to as God’s plan, desire, intention and purpose. God’s will is what God wants and what pleases him. Living in God’s will means living in alignment with God’s plan, desires and purposes. It means allowing God to lead one’s decision, action, lifestyle, rather than choosing one’s way or the world’s way.

God has great plans for every man. He has things in store for man and these things can only be discovered in God. God is our source and for us to know the reason behind our creation, we must find out God’s intention. Many people live their lives without paying attention to the desires and plans of God for them. Many even believe they are here on earth to just breath, eat and enjoy life. God has much better plans for individuals than that.

Purpose discovery is one quest many embark on but true purpose of existence can only be discovered when one seeks to the will of God for his life. The difference you have to make in life lies on your knowledge and understanding of God’s will for you. You have to be in alignment with the will of God in order that you might live fully.

Confession: I seek the WILL OF GOD in every area of my life and I live by it.
