SECRET OF SPIRITUAL STAMINA

One of the greatest deceptions of our generation is the assumption that spiritual strength can be sustained without consistent fellowship with God.

Many believers sincerely love the Lord, yet the pressures of life slowly choke their spiritual vitality, not necessarily because they deliberately abandoned God, but because their focus gradually shifted completely towards SURVIVAL, AMBITION, PRESSURE, MONEY, and the endless pursuit of “making life work.”

This is often how spiritual decline begins.

The enemy rarely starts with obvious sin, He simply distracts a believer from DAILY COMMUNION with GOD and little by little, prayer becomes irregular, the Word becomes occasional, quiet moments with the Lord become rare and then the altar that once burnt consistently begins to lose its fire.

Outwardly, such a person may still appear productive, active, intelligent, and hardworking, may still speak boldly, attend meetings, preach sermons, lead activities, and maintain appearances. But inwardly, something dangerous is happening which people might not be seeing and it is the fact that he is BECOMING EMPTY SPIRITUALLY.

Unfortunately, many people don’t realize how weak they have become until the day of adversity suddenly arrives.

It is in the day of adversity that they begin to build spirituality but the truth is that panic prayers and emergency fasting cannot replace what should have been built through DAILY WALKING WITH GOD.

STRENGTH ISN’T BUILT IN EMERGENCIES.

Strength is built in DAILY COMMUNION.

The believer who remains spiritually strong is not necessarily the one who occasionally prays for long hours once in a while, but the one who consistently maintains fellowship with GOD day after day.

Daily communion with the LORD is far more powerful than occasional attempts to “catch up” with long hours that can never replace consistency.

This is why Jesus said:

“Men ought ALWAYS to PRAY, and not to faint.” Luke 18:1

In that verse, you’d notice that fainting spiritually is connected to the absence of prayer and that’s why the altar must remain burning.

Not occasionally. Not emotionally. Not only during crises.

But DAILY.

Little by little, day by day, fellowship with GOD builds STRENGTH, DISCERNMENT, ENDURANCE, SENSITIVITY, PURITY, STABILITY, and SPIRITUAL CAPACITY.

Many believers are trying to survive spiritual battles with yesterday’s oil, but the walk with GOD was never designed to function on leftovers.

Everyday requires FRESH COMMUNION.

Everyday requires FRESH OIL.

Everyday requires returning again to His presence.

The beautiful thing is that no matter how dry the altar has become, it is NEVER too late to return because the LORD still calls men back to fellowship with Him.

The question now is:

WHEN LAST DID YOU HAVE TRUE COMMUNION WITH THE LORD?

Grace to you!
