The Godly Queen Hadassah (3)

Esther 2:20 (AMP)

“Now Esther had not yet revealed her nationality or her people, for she obeyed Mordecai’s command to her [to fear God and execute His commands] just as when she was being brought up by him.”

Men who will bring about the fulfilment of God’s Word over a land or territory are not made overnight, but rather they are made with specific qualities, and their obedience to instructions plays a vital role in their formation. No student has ever passed any examination or test without taking heed of the instructions given, and this has nothing to do with the academic prowess of the student. Every instruction is given to the end that the instructed carries out, according to the will of the instructor, what has been given as a command, and it is for the fulfilment of the instructed. You cannot make any difference if you are like every other person who neglects and ignores Godly instructions just because you feel you are mature enough to live your life by yourself.

Still on Verse 20 of Esther 2, Esther was said to obey the command of Mordecai, her Godly foster father. Esther fulfilled the words in Proverbs 4:13, which says, “Carry out my instructions; don’t forsake them. Guard them, for they will lead you to a fulfilled life.” Every human born on earth desires to live a fulfilled life, but fulfilment won’t become everyone’s reality because not all humans are ready to obey the instructions that will lead to the fulfilment they desire. Many are still waiting until they hear a voice from heaven sounding loud and clear, instructing them on what to do before they can obey. The truth is that such is too far from reality, no, not in these days, but there are instructions of the Lord written expressly in the Scriptures for guiding men and women into their destiny.

Apart from the written word of God, there are Godly parents and leaders that the Lord has positioned to give you Godly counsel that will launch you into the fulfilment you desire, but because they don’t meet up with your materialistic standards, you have chosen to be lackadaisical with the words they tell you. It is a pity that you cannot be fulfilled that way. Esther did not for the reason because she now dwells in the Palace and neglects or throws away the words of her father. She chose to be obedient even when she was obviously mature enough to live however she wanted. No matter what, the instructions of the Lord are always available to guide you, but your intentional obedience is needed. Make your choice.

Confession: I intentionally pay attention to instructions that give birth to fulfillment in me.
