Esther 4:14
“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?”
No man possesses anything in life except what he was given by God, and even those who claim to have received something from other powers, those powers are actually in existence because God is, although such a man hasn’t come through the will of God, but he is still receiving what God is the ultimate source. And therefore, you cannot be in any place of influence, especially as a Christian, without expecting men to run to you that you may use what God has given you to solve their problems. And how it will be evident that you are truly a Christian is when you give the glory for every success achieved and every battle conquered to God. Your life as a Christian is meant to be ready to do all that pleases God, even at the detriment of your material benefits.
Having heard of the decree that was sent forth from the king, which was to be sent to all the provinces where the Jews dwelt, Mordecai reacted by putting on sackcloth and sitting at the King’s gate. Esther knew about this, and then an inquiry was made to know the reason. Mordecai then pleaded with Esther to intercede for the Jews in the presence of the King, that their lives might be preserved. Queen Esther gave reasons she wouldn’t be able to go to the king, although the reasons were genuine, but the lives of the Jews were in danger if nothing was done, and the only person who could reverse the decree was King Ahasuerus. Mordecai challenged Queen Esther in order that she might have a rethink, which would bring a solution to the problem. May you never lack men who would challenge you to think outside the box of your fear and unbelief.
Being challenged thus, Esther requested that there be fasting for three days among the Jews and putting her life in God’s hands, she decided to take a step of Faith. The victory you desire won’t walk into your life willingly; there has to be enforcement in the place of prayer, which makes you walk in unhindered dominion. It is against the order of God when those who are supposed to be His children are living the lifestyle of slaves. It is not enough to know who you are or what you possess; you have to enforce it. Whatever situation you encounter should first be settled spiritually in the place of prayer before physical and obvious steps are taken. This is the right way to walk in victory through faith in God in the name of Jesus Christ.
Confession: I take my stand in the place of prayer to enforce my victory until I have reality.
