Darkness has been a problem since the time of creation. Since man fell, darkness has been in control of the lives of men and there needs to be a change. Genesis 1 proofs that the answer to darkness which leads to the deliverance and salvation of man is LIGHT.

When Jesus came into the world, He established the truth that He is the Light of the world. Without Christ, those who are on earth will live in darkness. Christ is the way out of the oppression of darkness and you must understand that your life will have no meaning without you acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Light that you need.

Following Jesus is a daily act because everyday is full of its own evil. There are many in the world who prefer darkness to light and this is the reason their lives are without any meaning. It is not enough to just say you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you must daily follow Him to not walk in darkness.

It is when you follow Him daily that you are saved from the confusion and death that darkness brings. As you walk each day, take your followership of Christ more seriously than before for this is the way to walk in the light even when many are walking darkness.

Reflections: If I say I walk in the light, do I still actively have the works of darkness in me? What must I do to be rid of the works of darkness?

Confession: I am the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hid. The light of Christ is in me and I do not walk in darkness.
