1 John 4:4
Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.
Compare two kinds of generator in a personalised way – A Tiger Generator and A Milkano Generator. At the sight of iron, Air Conditioner and Electric Cooker, expect that poor, small Tiger generator to be in deep thoughts because it’s about to carry on itself what is much more powerful than it. But with all these appliances, the Milkano Generator is happy and delighted because there is an engine inside that has enough power to conveniently entertain the services of these appliances. This illustration typifies a believer. It will be absurd for a Milkano generator to fear all these appliances. A believer has a person and power greater than that of the world the instant he gave his life to Christ.
Unfortunately, many believers do not have this truth registered in their consciousness yet and for this reason, the prince of this world is still putting them in subjection to his desires. Many would have been living in peace and prosperity but they are unable to do so because they have not realized that the Christ who now lives inside them is greater than any power or person in the world. The day a man discovers that he has superpowers, he doesn’t live as an ordinary man again. He lives in command of respect and speaks with authority. This is the kind of live a believer should live daily.
In the spiritual, Christ has won the victory for you. You must accept this victory in your heart and subconscious, that is when it can have a physical expression. Christ has done for you what you cannot do for yourself, it is now expedient that you allow this truth have a foothold inside of you as you live daily. A victory not gained in your mind cannot have a full physical expression. If you think you have a person greater than the world in you, then you will live with this thought always, and therein lies your victorious lifestyle.
Confession: I experience victory in every area of my life because of the victory which Christ has won.
