Philippians 4:8 (AMP)
For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
The Word of God is true, honest, valuable and pure and for the purpose of correction, doctrine, instruction, reproof and rebuke, it has been written to be read. The Word of God is true, worthy of reverence, honorable, just, pure, lovely and loveable, virtuous, and excellent, you should therefore think on this and fix your mind on its contents. Whenever the will of God is revealed to you, you should concentrate on doing it and accomplishing all it says promptly because it is sourced from the only true God.
Dear believer, do not allow anyone make you see the Bible as just an ordinary book. There are experiences and lessons there that are for your growth and prosperity in all areas of life, more so, it is God-breathed. What the breath of God does is to give life for by it man became a living being. And the Word of God proceeded from this breath, which means the Word of God has the ability to give life to you. Fix your mind on God’s Word.
Finally, you are who the Word says you are. You can do what the Word says you can do. You have what the Word says you have. You will be what the Word says you will be. Never live your life alienated from the truth of God’s Word. Your heart must be not left to fend for itself by feeding on junks that do not edify. Be intentional about your growth in all areas for what you feed your mind on will affect your all round growth. And may the peace of God stablish your hearts unto the coming of our Lord Jesus. Grace!
