God’s way of choosing men is never according to the ORDER of men.
David’s brothers had it took to become king of Israel – talk about the STRENGTH, STATURE, and SKILL, but HEAVEN REJECTED THEM, not because of any known sin, and David was CHOSEN, not because of any known righteousness that stood out but what stood out in all was that HIS HEART was right.
The SPIRIT OF GOD is once again passing by men, disregarding their positions, titles, and appearances, and laying hold on men after His very own heart – MEN WHO WILL FULFILL HIS WILL and not become pompous at the long run because of something they think they had that made them chosen by God.
Beloved, strive to keep a heart that is tender before God; it is not SKILL that enthrones a man in the Kingdom – it is ALIGNMENT.
