To everyone who feels like time is passing and nothing is happening, please be encouraged and KEEP WAITING.

Waiting on the Lord is never wasted time – it is usually TESTING and FORMING TIME and I want you to know that GOD IS NOT IDLE – He is busy in the background working in the silence, shaping your heart, aligning your steps and preparing what He has promised you.

The Word of God says in Isaiah 40:31 that:

“But those who WAIT on the Lord shall RENEW their STRENGTH; they shall mount up with WINGS LIKE EAGLES, they shall RUN and not be weary, they shall WALK and not faint.”

One thing I have found out in the few years of my walk with the LORD is that WAITING IS NOT PUNISHMENT, though it is painful to anyone who isn’t in the Spirit. Waiting is actually PREPARATION.

People see waiting as a delay, and that’s why when people enter marriage and they don’t have children when people expect them to, the next thing you hear is, THERE’S A DELAY, but for the believer, that’s not it, WAITING IS DIVINE ALIGNMENT.

God uses WAITING SEASONS to deepen our TRUST, refine our CHARACTER, and draw us closer to His heart.

Joseph waited in prison, thinking he was forgotten but God was actually positioning him for the palace.

David waited in the wilderness while his own elder brothers were enjoying the company of the king, but what he and many others didn’t know was that God was training a king in him so he could lead God’s people well.

Jesus waited for 30 years – one would have thought He was wasting time because for God’s sake, why then did you come to the world if you can’t start at a young age? But He had a global, thriving and still relevant ministry that lasted for 3 years yet still shaking the world.

Don’t despise the waiting room – GROW THROUGH IT!
