Romans 10:13 (AMP)
“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.”
Time and time again, it has been evidently proven that man is supposed to be a dependent being, one who depends on God, his Creator, for life and continued existence. Throughout the pages of history, God has always been one who saves and delivers as many as would call upon Him, even those who did not have a working relationship with Him beforehand.
Many people have called on God for help and salvation even when they’ve been long gone away from His presence, and yet God answered and showed Himself powerfully. It is important to note that when we pray, we experience God’s power doing the miraculous in our lives and in whatever situations we are in.
It is a dangerous place to be if a man doesn’t know how to pray to be saved and delivered from a certain unwanted situation. Prayer is a means through which we communicate our desires with God and seek to experience His Divine Power at work in us. There is no situation that God cannot change and make better if we can pray. Prayerlessness is dangerous, and it’s a show that one doesn’t need God.
Dear Believer, the salvation and deliverance of God is near to those who would call upon and cry to Him in faith and total surrender. He is ready to save and deliver, but we must pray. Whatever situation you are in can be sorted out if you depend on God in the place of prayer. Don’t try to do life all by yourself. Let God be the One to whom you call day and night.
Confession: I do not try to do life all by myself; even when it is difficult, I’ll call upon the name of the Lord in prayer.
