John 10:27 (AMP)

“The sheep that are My own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me.”

The voice of God comes to a man through different means, and one of such means is through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a speaking Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is truly in you, He will speak to you. God speaks to us by the leading of the Holy Spirit, and it could be through inner witness, that is, a knowing or perception about a particular thing.

It could be an inner voice through the medium of the mind. We should know that as believers, we are spiritual beings and not psychological beings. It is the Holy Spirit that speaks to us and not our minds or thoughts. To some, it might be tagged as their mind, but to a Christian, it is the voice of the Holy Spirit.

‎God speaks to us when our heart is made right. You need an accurate and correct heart posture to hear God. Many people do not hear God because their hearts are proud and haughty. You must submit your heart to God. You must be able to endure sound doctrine and grow. A heart that is not right with God cannot receive from God.

God is always willing and desirous to speak to you, but such may not happen if you are not ready to listen. Make it a habit to set aside time just to hear God speak to you in silence and stillness.

Confession: I align with the Lord with the right heart to hear His voice.
