Matthew 5:14 (AMP)
“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
The oneness of God the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ, is one of the messages of Jesus in the Gospels as He expounded the importance and necessity to be united. The Church will be more powerful and unconquerable by the enemy when there is unity.
Scientifically, when two light waves meet, they can mix together. If they match perfectly, they make a brighter light. If they cancel each other, they make a dimmer or dark spot – Here is another property of light. When we as children of God (lights) walk in unity, we make the world a better place of the Kingdom of our Father, God to reign. Love is what makes our light shine bright.
Truly there might be offences but loving one another helps us cut off offences and not persons. The more united we are, the brighter we shine and the fiercer we burn. Walking in disunity quickly causes our light to go dim as a church, we give room to darkness to start having it’s way in our midst.
The scripture says Prophecy may fail but love doesn’t. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Live in unity with your fellow lights.
