“The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God SAID, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” – Genesis 1:2-3
God in His greatness, chose to make a wonder and beauty out of the earth that was void, without form and full of darkness. It was His will to do so. His Word is a conveyor of His will for all of His creations both in heaven and on earth. And understanding this gives power to His Word on the lips of His children when declared to access miracle in a situation.
Many believers try to use God’s word like a magic wand which is deployed to perform something extraordinary which is their own will and desire, and many times, this is why miracles look distant and unexperienced. God’s Word is not a magic wand deployed to your bidding. God’s Word goes out to do God’s will.
Dear believer, there are many promises of God to you in the Scripture and factually, each of them have the capacity to bring the supernatural into your reality but what you need to pay closer attention to in order to receive with fullness what God has purposed to do is to understand what His will for you is concerning every matter of your life.
Don’t be quick to jump at every word and claim different promises in the Scripture without understanding what God is saying to you via His Word at that moment. Many people tag God’s Word a failure after they’ve declared the written word concerning a situation and they didn’t experience what they were expecting. The key to this is to find out what God’s mind is concerning the situation and then proceed accordingly. You can know God’s will for you and be aligned perfectly. This unlocks access to miracles.
Reflections: Do I know God’s will for this season of my life? Am I aligned in thoughts with His mind for me?
Confession: The Spirit of wisdom and revelation is at work in me. I am not ignorant of God’s will for me. God’s Word is powerful to me and in me. I live in reality of its possibilities everyday. For me, miracles are real and they are manifested in my life daily.
