“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

His life reminds us that standing for truth may come at a cost, but it is a cost that is worth paying.

Courage is not the absence of fear but absolute obedience in the presence of fear.

There are moments in every believer’s life when silence feels safer than conviction. Yet discipleship demands boldness that is rooted in trust that God stands with us. When we choose righteousness over convenience, truth over popularity, and obedience over comfort, we position ourselves under God’s sustaining grace.

Like Joshua stepping into leadership after Moses, courage often comes when responsibility increases and God does not call us to stand alone, He promises His presence wherever we go.

Practical Application: Take one clear stand for truth today, whether by speaking honestly, refusing compromise, or defending what is right, trusting that God is with you.

Confession: I am strong and courageous. I do not fear opposition or rejection. The Lord is with me wherever I go. I stand for truth, righteousness, and the purposes of God in my generation. Amen
