“Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.” – Matthew 7:15 (AMP)
It is a perilous time that we are in this age and it is difficult to live without having heard of different experiences of people with false prophets. When you see a wolf, it is easy for you to recognise it but when the wolf is clothed as a sheep, it becomes difficult to recognise without the Holy Spirit, or rather to say, without being discerning.
These wolves are in the Church and amongst believers today such that, they operate to deceive the untrained and undiscerning. As a believer, you must understand that you need to allow the Word of God be your guide and guard in these days. The way not to be devoured by these wolves is to stay with the Lord. God has made available the ministerial offices in order to train His sheep in the Word of Righteousness.
In your daily life, beware of those who say they are of Christ but do not speak nor live according to His Word. Do not be deceived for any reason. Be careful not to enter into deception in the name of serving Jesus. The times are truly evil and must be lived with discernment. Blessings.
Practical Application: Have you ever had an encounter with a false prophet or false minister of the Gospel? How did you recognize them and how were you able to escape their wickedness?
Confession: The Holy Spirit is inside me to give me the ability to discern with accuracy, precision and promptness the operations of deceptive ministers. I do not fall victim to their wiles. I am not ignorant of their devices and the devil has no grip over me.
