Philippians 4:8 [KJV]
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Have you ever heard fellow believers who say that the experience of blessing, blessedness and prosperity starts from a transformed mind? You may not fully understand what they mean until you begin to come to the realization that blessings and prosperity is a reality that exists in Christ Jesus. Many do not believe this and so it becomes a difficulty for them to experience. The Apostle Paul made a profound statement in this regard in Ephesians 1:3 when he wrote that – “May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) WHO HAS BLESSED US IN CHRIST with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!” (Take note of the words in uppercase).
The verse above says believers, Christians, saints, and the disciples of Jesus have been blessed. Awesome, right?! Yes, indeed! The verse continues to talk about it being a spiritual blessing. You need to know and accept that life is essentially spiritual and nothing happens in the physical without a start from the spiritual which is why you can not say that the spiritual realm doesn’t exist or call it a fallacy. It is not a fallacy, it is a truth that you must believe in. So, since the blessings proceed from the spiritual, you must allow your mind to agree with this reality if it will ever translate to be a physical experience for you.
If you had ever allowed yourself to think about the numerous blessings that you have in Christ, you would have started enjoying the experience of these blessings by now. You need to consciously tell yourself and think about it that you are not poor and that you have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ. This level of prosperity includes all areas of your life and so no part has been excluded, therefore you deserve to enjoy these blessings. Think on this for it is true, honest and lovely.
Confession: I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ and I experience the reality of this blessing fully.
