Philippians 4:8 [KJV]
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Dear believer, know of a certainty that there is a spirit that backs every word and so no word should be trivialized which is why you should be careful of the words that you listen to. The Word of God is backed by the Spirit of God and so for it to produce the expected results inside you which brings an outward expression, you must, without restrictions, allow the Holy Spirit to breath on the Word of God inside of you. The Holy Spirit has been given so that you might know how to live life in a way that pleases God. Paul says in Ephesians 1:13 says that – “In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.”
The responsibility that has been given the Holy Spirit by God through Christ is to establish in your heart the truthfulness of the Word of God by making you have an experience that brings this reality to life in you. As you take the conscious step of meditating in the Word of God, the Holy Spirit is at work in you, bringing to you the life that is in the Word. The Word of God is true according to Proverbs 22:20-21 which reads – “Have I not written to you [long ago] excellent things in counsels and knowledge, To make you know the certainty of the WORDS OF TRUTH, that you may give a true answer to those who sent you?”
You might have been wondering that the Word of God is not yet producing fruits in your life. You really need to start to think about how and what you think about the Word of God that you read and hear. There is life in the Word of God that is capable of changing you totally into a man that God will delight in because it will reproduce the nature of God in you. Knowing this importance, you must now take a conscious step in meditating in the Word of God daily. Allow your thoughts to be filled with the Word of God and do not live short of the instructions you get in the Word. The Word of God is worthy of your time, so spend enough time eating and regurgitating the Word that you may grow thereby.
Confession: I pay undivided attention to the Word of God and I have life by the Spirit of Truth.
